A prehistoric reptile that swam, having adapted legs into flippers (similar to the evolution of whales). With a sturdy neck and skull up to 6ft long., Mosasaurs were major predators in the Cretaceous seas. Pterogoid (throat) teeth helped prevent prey escaping.
